TV star Simon Baker avoids conviction for drink driving charges

TV star Simon Baker has fronted Mullumbimby Court, avoiding a conviction for drink driving near Byron Bay on July 20.

The court heard the 55-year-old was swerving between lanes… and was unsteady on his feet after being pulled over by police.

Police had to do an ‘old-fashioned sobriety test’, as a worldwide Microsoft outage meant they couldn’t complete breath analysis.

Baker was handed a nine-month conditional release order.
