Controversy after draw in thrilling Prelim Final

Erina advance to third straight decider against Hawks

After a tough year, there’s even more controversy in Central Coast Rugby League.

Woy Woy were down 24-12 against Erina, but scored twice in the final minutes, including this try to Jake Hardman to send the match to extra time.

After five minutes each way, scores were still level, and The Eagles advanced to the Grand Final, due to a superior position on the ladder.

It was a thrilling contest that deserved a result – and is sure to be another item up for review at the end of the season.

For the third straight year Erina and Toukley will meet in The Big One – with the Grand Final to be played Saturday afternoon at Morry Breen Oval.
