A Queensland man, extradited to New South Wales is tonight behind bars, charged over a public place shooting in Ballina.

Joseph Gilroy is accused of firing shots at a Brunswick Street property on April 10 last year… fortunately, no one was injured.

The 35-year-old now faces 10 charges, including firing at a dwelling and supplying an unregistered firearm.

Gilroy was today denied bail and is set to reappear at Byron Local Court on Monday.

Two others involved have already had their cases finalised.
