CCTV images released in May robbery investigation
Police have released images as they appeal for public assistance following an alleged armed robbery at a business on Evan Street, Lake Cathie around 10pm on Friday May 3.
Police were told a man walked into the licenced premises, walked over to the bar area and demanded money from a 20-year-old woman and a 60-year-old woman.
The man then produced a knife, threatening the women.
The man fled the scene with cash in a Honda.
No one was injured during the incident.
As inquiries are continuing police would like to speak to a man who may be able to assist.
The man is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 180cm tall, and was wearing a black face mask over bottom half of face, a grey hooded jumper, black trackpants, pink rubber gloves, and black shoes and carrying a number of grocery bags.
The vehicle is described as a 2007 Honda CRV with roof racks and damage to the rear left bumper and wheel arch.
