PFAS detected in Hunter wildlife as part of new research

It’s an issue close to home for many Hunter residents… PFAS contamination.
Now new research has detected the presence of the so-called ‘forever chemicals’ in Northern New South Wales wildlife… while Sydney is grappling with the discovery of PFAS in its catchments.
Authorities though are assuring people that tap water is perfectly safe to drink.
