Upper Hunter residents call on government to take action on climate change
Upper Hunter locals who challenged the extension of Mount Pleasant coal mine say they’re disappointed, after their legal bid failed.
The operation – west of Muswellbrook – is poised to double production until 2048… the residents now want governments to change laws, to consider climate change.
