The Merewether Surf Club marked its 50th anniversary in style last night, with almost a thousand people gathering for a ball.
The club’s rich history and recent achievements in team events across Australia were celebrated.
Among the most impressive chapters – producing four-time world surfing champion Mark Richards and former world number 2 Luke Egan.
