ALSTONVILLE HIGH TO TRAIN FUTURE FARMERS

Alstonville High School is now fully equipped to train the farmers of the future.
Staff have officially opened its primary industries trade training centre, alongside Member for Page Kevin Hogan.
“This is getting school students, who have an interest in these industries, to be work ready, or as work ready as we can get them.”
Around 120 students – along with up to six head of cattle – will use the million-dollar space daily.
Its construction was fully funded by the federal government.
