Fitzsimmons claims first Olympic medal

Avoca Surf Club packed to see paddling powerhouse on the podium

It was a thrilling finish in the Men’s K-4 in Paris, with Avoca’s Riley Fitzsimmons claiming his first Olympic medal.

His surf club on the Central Coast turned out in force to see the 28-year-old star on the world stage.
