Tweed Restaurant wins big at North Coast Tourism Awards

A restaurant in the Tweed Shire that bills itself as a ‘kitchen garden’ has won big at the North Coast Tourism Awards.

The awards presented last night by NBN News Presenter Jane Goldsmith at an event in Port Macquarie, celebrate tourism excellence in the region.

In the heart of the Tweed, restaurant ‘Potager’ took out the award for ‘Business of the Year’ as well as Excellence in Food Tourism.

The restaurant taking to social media saying ‘How amazing. So proud of (our) team!’

The business opened in 2016 on a small 10-acre farm in Carool, a 20 minute drive from the Gold Coast Airport. Priding itself on a relaxed dining experience, excellent service serving locally grown food. With a paddock to plate philosophy to showcase the Northern NSW region.
