Six people are behind bars after a major drug bust in the Northern Rivers.
A 37-year-old woman, and two men aged 28 and 51 – were arrested in Chinderah yesterday afternoon.
Later a 48 year old woman, and two men aged 34 and 42 were taken into custody following searches at Evans and Tweed Heads.
Authorities seized pistols, cocaine, 1.5kg of methamphetamine and nearly $40,000 cash.
The group were charged with more than 140 offences including drug supply and using a child to assist criminal activity.
All have been denied bail – and will face court next month.
