NORTHSTARS REMAIN IN SECOND PLACE FOLLOWING DOUBLE HEADER

The Newcastle Northstars remain in second spot, after splitting their double header at home over the weekend.
Last night, the Melbourne Ice took the lead in the first period, before Newcastle’s new import added to his growing tally of goals.
A goal to the Northstars in the final seconds of the game made it four-three, but it was too late.
Newcastle’s next game is against the Brave in Canberra on Saturday.
