Fourth man charged over alleged assault in Gunnedah
A fourth man has been charged following an alleged assault in Gunnedah last week.
Just before 5PM on July 3, four men approached a 20-year-old man who was leaving a supermarket on Little Conadilly Street.
They allegedly followed him to his car and assaulted him before producing a large hunting knife.
Police say a passenger attempted to intervene but was knocked to the ground and kicked multiple times before fleeing the scene.
Three men aged between 18 and 23 were arrested and remain before the courts.
The fourth man, aged 22 was charged on Friday and will appear in Gunnedah Court next month.
