A 13 year old boy has been charged after an alleged stolen car crash overnight in Lismore.
Police say they tried to stop the driver of a Subaru station wagon for a random breath test on Conway Street just before midnight…
But the car didn’t pull over, leading to a police pursuit that ended with the Subaru crashing on Dalley Street.
Officers say they saw three people fleeing the scene on foot…before they arrested one 13 year old boy and charged him with 2 offences.
Police allege the car was stolen from Yamba around 5 P-M yesterday.
The boy has been granted conditional bail and will appear in Children’s Court next month.
