Three charged over alleged property offences

Two men and a woman have been charged over alleged property offences following an investigation by officers attached to Manning/Great Lakes Police District.

An investigation into alleged property offences in the Manning/Great Lakes district has lead to two men and a woman being charged.

It comes after police attended a home on Stevenson Street, Taree, on Saturday Jane 29, following reports of an alleged break and enter.

Investigations commenced with police executing search warrants at two Taree properties on Railway Parade and Talawong Drive yesterday. During the search, police allegedly located and seized several items believed to have been stolen from the break and enter.

A 30-year-old man was arrested at the Railway Road property, while a 34-year-old man and a 40-year-old woman were arrested at the Talawong Drive property.

All three were taken to Taree Police Station.

The younger man was charged with goods in personal custody suspected of being stolen, he was granted conditional bail and will appear at Taree Local Court on Tuesday August 6.

The older man was charged with dispose property-theft=serious indictable offence and enter dwelling with intent (steal) and breach of bail.  He was refused bail to appear Taree Local Court on Thursday July 11.

The woman was charged with possess drug (not cannabis leaf/MDMA) not exceed small quantity, and goods suspected stolen in/on premises (not m/v). She was granted conditional bail to appear at Taree Local Court on Tuesday August 6.
