Three men have been charged over an assault in Gunnedah.
Police say four men approached a 20-year-old leaving a supermarket on Little Conadilly Street just before 5pm on Wednesday.
It’s alleged the man was assaulted while his brother, waiting in a car, was also knocked to the ground and kicked multiple times trying to help.
The group left a short time later, and the two men attended Tamworth Police Station to make a report.
It is alleged the men are not known to each other.
Two men aged 18-years-old and 23-years-old faced Tamworth Local Court today.
A 19-year-old was given conditional bail to face Gunnedah Court next month.
Investigations are continuing.
