A man will appear in court today charged with serious domestic violence offences relating to incidents alleged to have occurred earlier this year.
On Wednesday June 5th, commenced inquires to locate a 30-year-old man following reports of alleged domestic violence offences.
Following inquires, the man was arrested on Subiaco Avenue, Cessnock about 12:20pm and taken to Cessnock Police Station yesterday July 3.
He was charged with a number of offences, police allege in court the man assaulted and threatened a woman in separate incidents in May 2024.
The man was refused bail to appear before Cessnock Local Court today.
