A man’s body has been found after a house fire on the New South Wales Central Coast this morning.
At about 5.40am, emergency services were called to Mercator Parade in St Huberts Island following reports of a house fire.
The property was well alight when police and firefighters arrived, but the blaze was extinguished.
The body of a man was found in the home during a subsequent search.
He is yet to be formally identified, but is believed to be a man in his 40s.
Two other occupants managed to escape the fire.
Police are investigating and a report will be prepared for the coroner.
