Man charged following investigation into break-in at Tamworth
A man will face court charged following investigation into a break-in in the state’s north-east this month.
A man will face court after an investigation into a break-in on Kinarra Street, Tamworth, on Saturday June 8.
Officers attended the home after reports the home was allegedly broken into and a Toyota Corolla stolen between 1am and 6:30am.
About 12.20pm the same day, police located the Toyota abandoned in Narine Close, Tamworth, and it was seized for forensic examination.
Following inquiries, a 19-year-old was arrested at a home on Green Street, Tamworth around 10am yesterday.
He was taken to Tamworth Police Station and charged.
He was refused bail and appeared at Narrabri Local Court yesterday, where he was formally refused bail to reappear at Tamworth Local Court on Monday 8 July 2024.
