A Newcastle man has today admitted to his role in the death of well known Stockton resident nearly three years ago.
Dalton Oliver today pleaded guilty to the manslaughter of 54 year old Graham Cameron, whose body was discovered in a Fullerton Street unit following a fire in 2021.
Police alleged he had suffered a number of stab wounds. Oliver also admitted to intentionally damaging the unit by fire, in the company of an unknown person.
Oliver was originally charged with murder, and was due to stand trial in Newcastle Supreme Court.
