Muswellbrook Council has approved plans for a cinema complex at the workers club.
A developer will build two 130-seat cinemas where the current auditorium is.
Council has committed $650,000 to the $1.3-million project.
” We had overwhelming support and feedback from the community, we ran a survey with about 100 respondents and they were overwhelmingly in support of the funding and development persee.”
It’s hoped it will open by Christmas.
