MORE THAN $5,000 RAISED FOR PORT STEPHEN OFFICER KILLED ON DUTY

More than $5,000 has already been raised for the family of a Port Stephens police officer, killed in a crash while on duty in the Hunter Valley.
Sergeant Geoffrey Richardson died when the patrol car he was driving slammed into a tree at Allandale, while he was on his way to assist colleagues in a pursuit.
The fund was set up by the New South Wales Police Association and Police Legacy, with money raised helping to support Sergeant Richardson’s wife and young sons.
