ANGLICAN PRIESTS LOSE APPEAL IN SUPREME COURT

Two Anglican priests that the church has moved to defrock, following allegations of sexual misconduct, have lost an appeal in the Supreme Court.
In 2010, the Anglican Diocesan Professional Standards Board publicly examined the claims, relating to former Newcastle Dean, Graeme Lawrence, and Cardiff priest Graeme Sturt.
It decided to strip them of their holy orders.
Today, the court found the board acted appropriately in dealing with the accusations.
