MORE POLICE TO CRACK DOWN ON RURAL CRIME IN BARWON

As the New South Wales police force continues its crack down on rural crime, three new positions have been announced for the Barwon Command.
A Detective Sergeant and two constables will be based in Moree, to work as part of the newly-formed rural crime prevention team.
Stock theft, illegal hunting and trespassing will be targeted.
The new positions come just weeks after Strike Force Claymore was launched in Moree to combat the rising rates of crime.
