Port Macquarie is again in the grip of a busy tourist season, evidenced by the traditional battle for car parking spaces in the CBD.
While it’s undoubtedly a peak period, the shortage of car parking is set to be a major issue in 2011.
Port Macquarie-Hastings Council is reviewing its overall parking strategy and intends to conduct a second round of public workshops early in the new year.
