Traffic was interupted in the Beresfield area this morning after a semi trailer tipped over near the John Renshaw Drive roundabout.
The truck that was heading south toward the Freeway, lost its load in this mishap. One lane of the road was closed as the cleanup and salvage continued.
At Salamander Bay, a residential duplex in Yachtsman’s Way was destroyed by fire this morning. Emergency Services rushed to the scene just after 10am. The occupants of one home escaped the blaze, while the adjoining residence is thought to have been vacant.
