Video has emerged of the moment a B-double truck crashed through a guard rail on the M1 at Morisset.
The vision, shot by another motorist, shows the driver of the truck swerving across lanes on the highway, near Bushell’s Ridge, before crashing through a railing and coming to rest down an embankment.
Passing motorists came to the aid of the driver, who is believed to have suffered a medical episode.
Emergency services were also called to the scene at about 3.30pm. They assessed the man onsite and he returned a negative result to a breath test.
The truck was recovered from the crash site last night.

I came upon this truck driver at the Ourimba interchange and he was swerving all over the road then. I had to blast my horn at him. He was going from slow lane to fast lane and back again. He was still swerving when I left the M1 at the Wyong exit. It was lucky no-one was injured.
