Work has begun on the second stage of the Pimlico to Teven section of the Pacific Highway upgrade.
Ballina MP Don Page, and Member for Page, Kevin Hogan, representing both levels of government at the turning of the first sod.
“We know the benefits this brings, obviously increased tourism and the better things for business the dual carriageway brings, but also the increased safety that it brings to our community” said Member for Page, Kevin Hogan.
The work, which includes the construction of two bridges, is part of the $560-million upgrade of highway between Ballina and Woolgoolga
