CONCERNS FOR BOBIN PUBLIC SCHOOL’S FUTURE

Concern is mounting in the small community of Bobin, north west of Taree, over the future of the town’s public school.
Low enrollment numbers have placed it on the Department of Education’s radar.
Thank you for airing the plight to keep Small Schools open for rural children.
We don’t all live in areas that have public transport, and schools within 15 min. drive etc. and for our children to not go to our local school means over an hour on a bus into Wingham twice a day. The School is in a good place and anyone who would like their child to experience the great learning facilities, no chance of falling through the cracks here, with a friendly atmosphere, and teachers who care, the school is ready to help your child through the important start of their education.
