Allanah Pitcher claims State 5000-metre Race Walk Title

Olympic hopeful smashes her PB

Central Coast Race Walker Allanah Pitcher has claimed the New South Wales Open 5000-metre title.

The 21-year-old had been battling illness in the lead up to the event, but smashed her Personal Best by a staggering 84 seconds….stopping the clock in just under 22-minutes.

She will now compete in the Australian Championships next month in a quest to qualify for the Paris Olympics.
