Nambucca Valley Council’s preparing to build a land bridge at Dawkins Park in Macksville to reduce the white ibis population on the island.
It’s anticipated the pedestrian access will make it a less enticing spot for the native bird to nest…while addressing the ongoing water quality and odour issues.
