SINKHOLE CAUSES ROAD SURFACE TO COLLAPSE INTO OCEAN

Heavy overnight rain has caused a sinkhole at Lake Cathie to deteriorate with the road surface collapsing into the ocean.

For now, Middle Rock Road remains partially closed and residents are advised to keep clear of the area.
