Hunter-bred basketballer Ben Simmons could be set to join one of the worst teams in American history, after the Philadelphia 76ers drew the first pick in the NBA Draft on June 23.
Simmons is the favourite to be the first player selected, and was reportedly hoping to earn a deal with Los Angeles… but the Lakers now have the second pick.
The Australian’s best chance of going to LA is Duke University forward, Brandon Ingram, who some believe is a better fit for the 76ers.
