Olslagers runner-up in Diamond League Final
High Jump star heading home after stellar season abroad
Central Coast High jump star Nicola Olyslagers has finished second in the final Diamond League event of the season in Belgium.
On a cool night in Brussels, Olyslagers cleared one-metre-97, with Yaroslava Mahuchikh claiming gold on a countback.
The 27-year-old also finished runner-up behind the Ukranian on the Diamond League points table, with fellow Aussie Eleanor Patterson in third place.
After four months abroad, it’s mission accomplished – Olyslager’s is coming home with her second Olympic medal.
