The work and dedication of local police officers has been recognised at the Oxley Police District Awards.

An emotional occasion for some- reflecting on one of the darkest days in Tamworth policing history.

Born and bred in the Manning Valley, Rob Douglas joined the Taree bureau in June 2021 after a short career in print media. He joined the Tamworth team in July 2023. Rob graduated from Charles Sturt University in Bathurst in 2016 with a sports journalism degree.
