Tweed-Byron Police District detectives have released a COMFIT image as investigations continue into the suspected homicide of Iain Hogg in 2002.
On Monday 11 March 2002, police have been told a firearm was believed to have been discharged at Iain Hogg in a carpark on Coral Street, Tweed Heads.
It is believed that Mr Hogg died at the scene, before his body was placed into the Tweed River; however, his body has never been found.
Mr Hogg’s vehicle, a red Toyota Celica, was seen in the same carpark at the time of the incident.
A $1 million reward was recently announced for information leading to an arrest and conviction regarding the suspected murder of Mr Hogg.
As part of ongoing inquiries, detectives from Tweed/Byron Police District have released a COMFIT image of a man they believe can assist with their inquiries.
He is described as being of Caucasian appearance with fair hair, and at the time of the incident was believed to be aged in his early to mid-20s.
