DIMI PAPADATOS FINISHES SECOND AT BRIDGESTONE CHALLENGE

Central Coast golfer Dimi Papadatos has finished second at the Bridgestone Challenge, moving up to 12th on Europe’s second tier tour.

The 27-year-old opened the tournament with two rounds of 63, to hold a four-shot lead heading into the weekend.

Papadatos was then in equal first before the start of the final day, but was overtaken by England’s Tom Lewis, eventually finishing in equal second.

It’s another great result for the Magenta Shores professional, who won the Portugal Open back in May.
