SES crews respond to more than 500 calls for help across New South Wales
It’s been a challenging 24 hours for emergency crews elsewhere too, after gale force winds battered the coast.
Marine Rescue saved two sailors off Port Macquarie, while in the Hunter, the SES responded to more than 100 calls for help.
