Gladstone residents devastated by looming pool closure

Gladstone residents say they have been left shattered by Kempsey Shire Council’s proposal to close the Macleay Memorial Pool.

Council says the difficult decision is necessary to cut costs – as the region faces a projected $100 million deficit within a decade.
