City of Lights tournament underway in Tamworth

It’s one of the oldest bowls tournaments in the North-West – and today the ‘City of Lights’ event got underway in Tamworth.

More than 80 players took to the greens ahead of tomorrow’s finals.

Born and bred in the Manning Valley, Rob Douglas joined the Taree bureau in June 2021 after a short career in print media. He joined the Tamworth team in July 2023. Rob graduated from Charles Sturt University in Bathurst in 2016 with a sports journalism degree.
