Today has been a snowy day across the Australian Alpine region with a blanket of white covering most of the higher peaks thanks to a cold gusty change. The pre frontal trough triggered a line of storms that rolled across the north west this morning. The system moved through quickly clearing by the afternoon.
The cooler air will spread across northern NSW overnight. After a cool start tomorrow it is going to be fine and mostly sunny with more fantastic looking days to follow continuing across the weekend getting hotter each day.
