50TH FESTIVAL IN COUNCIL’S SIGHTS

Plans for the 50th Tamworth Country Music Festival are already underway as part of council’s strategic plan for the next six years.

Although the event is still a few years off in 20-22, Festival Manager Barry Harley says it’s important to plan ahead for funding purposes and to ensure both fans and artists are happy.

“It’s a milestone that not many reach and definitely part of our planning will be to actually have that culminating on the 50th as a huge event.”
