AUTHORITIES INVESTIGATING FATAL RAIL CROSSING CRASH

The far north coast town of Kyogle is mourning the death of a local woman, whose car was struck by a train at a level crossing early this morning.

Authorities are investigating whether mechanical failure played a part in the horrific incident.
