A proposal for a brothel in Muswellbrook’s main street could land the council in court.
Earlier this month, councillors knocked back an application for a brothel on Bridge Street, despite a recommendation from staff to approve the development.
The company has sought legal advice and is now considering an appeal.
The applicant will make a decision next month on whether to take the matter to the Land and Environment Court.
