The Gold Coast crew of Luke Durman and Ross Willaton has taken out the first round of the Offshore Superboat Championships on Newcastle Harbour.
Pre race favourites Tom Barry Cotter and Pal Virik-Nilsen had plenty of trouble in their boat Mustang, while the Queensladers cruised to victory.
