COFFS RESIDENTS URGED TO HAVE SAY ON CITY SQUARE

Coffs Harbour residents are being urged to have their say on plans to upgrade City Square.

Council set up an information stall today to explain the $2-million project which will be funded by the current levy on CBD businesses.

The design features a new backdrop to the car park, along with more shade and seating that can be moved around.

“Our intention is to try and get it underway in July through to about October but of course, there’s a fair amount to go before we can push that button,” said CBD Masterplan Chairman Rod McKelvey.

Public submissions and comments close at the end of the month.
