MOOBALL RESIDENTIAL REZONING APPROVED

After more than three years of negotiations, the Department of Planning has agreed to rezone 50 hectares of land at Mooball as residential.

The decision paves the way for a huge expansion of the rural village.

Around 250 homes will be built – potentially quadrupling the population.

Residents who objected to the expansion, say they’re disappointed by the decision.
