HSC results are released tomorrow but two Taree teenagers are already hoping to inspire other Indigenous students to reach new heights in their education.
Cousins Ausha Paulson and Luca Saunders returning to Taree High School – after Ausha picked up an Outstanding Academic Excellence at the recent Nanga Mai education awards.
Luca wowed the audience with a special performance alongside teacher Benn Saunders.
“So special because its I’ve had a big journey this year in Year 12 so yeah it was really nice to get recognised for the hard work I put in,” Ausha said.
“I sung Amazing race in Gathang and Crazy by Seal,” Luca said.
Ausha is now off to study medicine at the University of New South Wales.
