More and more people are using Newcastle Airport than ever before.
It’s just recorded its busiest April, with nearly 110,000 travellers walking through the doors.
That’s roughly 14,000 more than the same time last year, and continues an upwards trend.
The airport credits the increase to more destinations and extra seats.
It’s currently on track to break its record of 1.2-million passengers for a financial year.
