Police appeal for information after a man is stabbed in his Armidale home
Police are appealing for information after a man was stabbed during a home invasion in the state’s Northern Tablelands.
Around 10.10pm on Sunday 25 June 2023, emergency services were called to a home on Garibaldi Street, Armidale, following reports a man had been stabbed.
Police were told four men forced entry into a home and stabbed a 67-year-old man twice and stole his mobile phone and a watch before fleeing the location.
The man was taken to Armidale Hospital by NSW Ambulance Paramedics for treatment of injuries and is in a stable condition.
Officers attached to New England Police District have commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
